An eternal Story

The rainbow days an eternal story is a book by Prabir Kumar Datta agenius
himself. The book is about a lot of things. life, childhood, socual problems and simply a search for happiness in general.

SUMMARY:
This is the story of the childhood of an easy boy named Papu in a very remote village of bengal, India, within the last century, between 1967 to 1972.

Bengal, the middle of the revolt against British rule, was bisected by them throughout the independence of Asian country to create East Pakistan (which later became Bangladesh), inflicting Brobdingnagian plight to an entire generation once several families became refugees. Papu’s family additionally came to Asian country from erstwhile East Pakistan, effort everything behind.

Papu’s father, a immensely learned man And an inflexible unselfish ex-revolutionary, came to the village as a coach. There, too, he had to fight against powerful corrupted institution and face various odds. His mother, UN agency is that the female offspring of wealthy oldsters, additionally veteran dire financial condition. But Papu, an excellent student, was extremely influenced by his father.

It is the story of that struggle, though their area unit several unforgettable moments with captivated friends, loving oldsters, serene village nature, and plenty of burning moments. Their area unit family intrigues of the relatives, naughty activities of childhood, and unhappy deaths and an underlying message of import subtly sent through a extremely fascinating story of magnetism giving the readers a large pleasure of reading at an equivalent time.

My Views:
The novel is nicely written and keeps you gripped to it until you finish it. The feelings of a child are beautifully described which makes you feel that the author is a child himself. The incidences are put together in a line very nicely. The book is written in very casual English. The book describes the thought process of a d child who is confused yet very clear about his principles he learned from his father.
Book is written in a different manner but still after some time writing style becomes little monotonous and unnecessary details urge you to be skipped.

Conclusion:
The book is an exact depiction of a thought process of a person without missing anything. It describes the state of mind of a child very nicely. The book is nice but the story misses any sort of twist or turns. Too casual language and the cuss words, repetitive sentences and the same monotonous writing style however takes away the charm of the book.

It's about Time...

When reading, we don't fall in love with the characters' appearance. We fall in love with their words, their thoughts, and their hearts. We fall in love with their souls and I fell in love with the lead lady Kavita.
I do not usually write book reviews regularly; even though I am fond of books like I am fond of life and everything it has to offer. Thus, when I write about a book, it implies the book has managed to stir a strong hidden emotion somewhere.
This book “Cross Roads it’s about time; for me* is not about the details at all. Not even about the story. This book is about journey of a woman from a pampered daughter, to devoted wife, loving mother to finding her own self; her own identity as an individual.
I like to go deep in a book, devoid of the physical & metaphorical noise in the head, and try and read the emotions that the book and the men folk captured within are portray.
This one book disturbed me (of course due to some scenes to which I can easily relate) and the eyes welled up at alarmingly regular checkpoints.

ABOUT THE BOOK:
In the journey of life we see dreams, we fall in love, we experience bliss but yet we often fall, never to rise again. But Kavita is a fighter. From marrying the man she loves, to becoming a protective mother, to tolerating abuse and emerging stronger from it, her life is not different from just another Indian woman. For how long can she take the domestic violence and humiliation? Does she leave her abusive husband Rajiv, in search of greener pastures with Mihir, or does she succumb to a passionate moment with a youngster, Abhinash. Don’t we all have a right to make our identity, alone, or is marriage the only bond where one must adjust to find happiness. Is Kavita doing anything wrong by following her heart? If it takes two to tango, where did she go wrong?
Can she pamper the child in her, defy the world and live life on her own terms? Or does life give her a chance to make amends and save her precious bonds. She is standing at the crossroads of her life and wondering which path she should follow to get some peace, something we all are seeking. Why don’t YOU, my reader hold her hand and guide her. It’s about time.

CONCLUSION:
Book is written in a different manner writing style is something we all can admire. The book is an exact depiction of a thought process of a person without missing anything. It describes the state the mind of a child perfectly, how her parents’ constant fights disturb her too. The book is nice but the story misses any sort of twist or turns. Conversation between twitter, amber and Kavita are cherry on top of the cake.
In the end then, Crossroads remains to be an ambitious project, aiming straight at your heart. Go grab your copies now, and try and be your Doppelganger.
The book is escapist  for the urban human, and worthy of your time. And heart.
ratings: 5 out of 5.
P.S: this book will always remain close to my heart.
P.P.S: you have beautiful eyes ma’am. :* <3
